How do I get rid of red-eye effects using Capture NX?

Capture NX uses U Point^TM technology to reduce red-eye effects that occur in photography from time to time. You can reduce red-eye by completing the following steps:

1. Launch Capture NX and open the image that requires editing.
2. Zoom in at 100% to magnify the area you want to edit clearly.
3. Click on Red-eye control point from the toolbar located at the top.
4. Place the control point on the eye and drag the slider to reduce the red-eye effect.
5. Save your edited image.
Alternatively, you can choose to use Auto Red-Eye Fix by clicking on Base Adjustments > Detail Adjustments > Auto Red-Eye. Click on the drop-down arrow on the left.
Click on the drop-down menu and choose Automatic. This option will automatically reduce any red-eye effects in your image.
